Hotel Sunplaza

The location made getting around easy, right beside Shin-Imamiya Station and close to other train lines, shopping, and popular sights. Reception staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating, which made the stay even nicer. I booked an economy Japanese-style single room with a shared bathroom, and it exceeded my expectations. The place was spotless and well maintained, with a charming, elegant atmosphere. My cozy room had a fridge, TV, and air conditioning with a heater. They also provided complimentary toiletries, plus free bread every morning and unlimited tea, coffee, and water. Such a thoughtful touch. I loved my stay at Hotel Sun Plaza and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The hotel is right beside Shin-Imamiya station, with direct access to Kansai Airport. The rooms were clean, and service was good. They also offer complimentary bread and basic drinks. Rooms are a little small, and the lobby could get crowded or noisy at times. Still, I’d recommend it to tourists or anyone looking for affordable, compact accommodation who’ll spend most of the day out.

The train station is very close, which is probably the best thing about this place. The staff are so kind, and the room, bedding, and facilities are very clean and nice. The room feels a little small, but you get what you pay for. A good budget option for solo travelers or couples.

The staff were kind and helpful, and they let us leave our luggage at reception after checkout since we weren’t leaving Osaka until night. There’s complimentary tea, coffee, and water. The shared kitchen is available, but there weren’t enough utensils for cooking or eating, so we had to buy our own bowls. The hotel is close to the metro and the city center, with lots of supermarkets and even a mega-DonQi within walking distance. Still, the neighborhood didn’t feel very safe to me. People were openly smoking and drinking on the nearby street, which felt strange after Tokyo. This is a budget place with shared washrooms, one per floor for ten rooms, and a shared bath area across nine floors, separated for men and women. Our room was very small and smelled strongly and unpleasantly. There was no bed, just two mattresses, and nowhere like a table to put our things. We could also hear noise coming from the window.
