Juso AFP Luxury Apartment

The location was great, and there was a washing machine and an induction cooktop for making a quick breakfast. For a six-day stay, though, I would’ve liked face towels. We got just one body towel and there was no housekeeping service.

The room had everything I needed for a stay of 3 to 12 days, and having a washing machine was invaluable. Self-check-in and checkout were simple to follow, with thorough instructions and even a video to guide me. There were a couple of long hairs around the property, despite my short hair, and a little dust. It wasn't a big deal, and I was still happy with the cleanliness. The location is great for food and entertainment, and a quick train ride gets you to Umeda for trips around Osaka.

We spent a week at Juso AFP Apartement and had a very smooth stay. The owner replied quickly to questions on Booking, and the keybox code came through the booking message system. Check-out was just dropping the keys in the box, with no waiting. The room was spacious and clean, and the kitchen had what we needed to put together a quick meal. Each room had a laundry machine, and both the large, fully functional bathroom and the Japanese electric toilet worked well. A park just below our window made the evenings feel calm and relaxing. Juso Train station is a practical five-minute walk away. Calling this Luxury makes sense, especially compared with the capsule hotels in Japan, this place is nothing like one.

Juso station is close by, making it easy to visit Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto on Hankyu trains. Our apartment was fine, though it looked a little more worn in person than in the photos. There was some damaged furniture, doors that stuck, and loose cupboard covers, but it didn't bother us too much.
