The hotel was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly and did their best to help. It’s a good budget option, close enough to walk to major areas like Dotonburi. A few things made the stay harder: there’s no ice machine, the mini fridge barely cools drinks and isn’t cold enough for food, and the thermostat is locked, which could be a problem if you get hot at night. Laundry was a nightmare. There’s just one machine, and for 400 yen the clothes felt rinsed rather than clean 😂. The alternative is paying more than 1500 yen down the street. We were on the second leg of our trip, so avoiding laundry wasn't an option. There also isn't a designated water station away from the sometimes chaotic cafe.

It's a quiet, well-maintained hotel and feels cozy. The room can seem cramped if two people are travelling with luggage, but for a budget stay in a central spot, I think it's worth it. At first the bed seemed a little hard. By nighttime, though, it felt comfortable and gave my lower back good support. I'd consider staying here to explore Osaka and be near the shopping district.
