The old-world feel of this traditional Japanese house was a big part of its appeal, and we'd stay again. We loved the tatami living room overlooking the garden and had tea there every day. For a family of three, the bathroom, two toilets, and two western-style bedrooms were a great step up from a small hotel room. We also appreciated the free early check-in, drinks, and snacks when we arrived. The host was friendly, efficient, and quick to respond. A few things to be aware of: the house is darker than it looks, and because it's at street level, opening all the curtains means being exposed. There was a strong sewage smell. The floors and windows sometimes squeaked and shook, especially the windows from street noise and vans. Those were minor inconveniences for us.

The host made everything easy, from a welcoming response to hassle-free check-in. The place was spotless and cozy, just as listed, with everything I needed to feel at home. I had a lovely stay and would gladly return. Thanks for the great hospitality! 😊

We wanted a real house for our first trip to osaka, and this was perfect for us. It was very clean, with instructions for all the appliances. The upstairs shower leaked so we couldn't use it, though the downstairs one was better anyway.

We came from the United States and loved the home. Our group really enjoyed its Japanese vibe, and I'd highly recommend it to visitors who want that kind of cultural feel during their stay. We'd come back.

We spent 3 nights in this spacious old Japanese house and absolutely loved it. The host was super nice, and there's a convenience store right around the corner. Definitely want to come back.
