Minn Umeda East

We stayed five nights in a triple room. The modern bathroom was clean, there was space to hang clothes, and the little vacuum was handy for keeping the room tidy. One confusing thing: after checking in at reception, we mistook the glass door for the Minn entrance. The solid automatic door beside the check-in tablet looked like part of the wall, and we saw other guests make the same mistake. We used the kitchen cups and plates during our stay, but after washing them there were no towels or drying rack.

The rooms are clean and have a reasonable set of basics. Mine was a little small, but still comfortable. The location is central, about eight minutes from Osaka station, with a convenience store and supermarket nearby. I'd stay again.

Good location, roughly a 10-minute walk from the subway. I kept bumping my head on the stove hood and cabinet doors at 5'10", so anyone over six feet might find the space awkward. Everything is handled online or with very little human contact, which felt odd after arriving at a Tokyo hotel and expecting more of a Japanese welcome. Otherwise, it wasn't bad.

A few stray hairs and some dust, and I wish the location were better. Still, the experience was positive overall.
