Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka

I appreciated the quiet, peaceful feel of the hotel even though Osaka was busy outside. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Mr (M Aoraka) was especially attentive when assisting me, though I’m sorry I’ve forgotten the pronunciation. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a beautiful city view. The location is extremely convenient, directly connected to Namba Station and near shopping, restaurants, and tourist spots. I had a great stay and would definitely return to Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka. Highly recommended for comfort, convenience, and service.

We spent 10 nights at Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka and loved it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the nighttime city view was a real highlight. Staff were friendly, and everything felt smooth and well organized throughout our stay. Getting around was so easy. The hotel is connected to JR Namba Station, with major train and subway lines, and OCAT bus terminal is right there for airport transfers and longer trips. Dotonbori is close enough to walk to for food, shopping, and sightseeing. A fantastic choice if you want comfort and easy access.

The hotel has a classic, slightly vintage look with European-inspired design, so it has more character than a typical business hotel. It’s a solid option if you value atmosphere, convenience, and good value without paying too much. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though not especially spacious. Osaka Station is within walking distance, with transport, shopping, and dining nearby. Staff are generally polite and efficient, making check-in and the stay straightforward. Some facilities feel dated, and soundproofing varies by room.

All the staff were great, from the doorman to reception, and the breakfast staff in the morning were especially friendly. It’s a solid four-star hotel, with a well maintained room that has a very good size and layout. The hotel sits above Namba station, with direct access to several metro lines. The OCAT airport bus service is next door, under 50 metres away at street level on level 1.
