The hostel was very clean and felt secure, and I never felt rushed. It's easy to chat with people there. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, though anyone who's stayed in hostels knows the people can make or break the experience. You're right above the station, and the lift gets you up whether you enter from station level or street level. It's close to one food district, with another just a train stop away. There are plenty of 7-Eleven shops and some local fruit and veg places. I'd definitely stay again, and the price is very reasonable.
The beds were fine, and I slept really well for all seven nights. Staff were helpful and nice, and the station was accessible from the same elevator as the hostel. Outside noise, including sirens, can be heard inside, so I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers. The common area wasn't very social, which is often the case when a hostel doesn't have a bar.
I had a great two-night stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming when I arrived, and the location is handy for Osaka's sightseeing spots. The dorm was neat, clean, and quiet, and I liked having a good amount of private space around my bed. I highly recommend staying here.
Had a great time here. It's a small hostel with lovely staff, chill people, and all the amenities you might need. The beds are surprisingly comfy and give you some privacy. Would recommend!
The staff were helpful with local tips, and there are guide pamphlets at reception. They hold onto lost property for three days. I talked with a few guests, though it was also easy to keep to myself. There weren’t any hostel-organized social events. My bed had a curtain, a power socket and a lamp, and the mattress felt great to me because I like a firm one. Sheets, a blanket and pillowcase were free, as were soap, shampoo, conditioner and two hangers. Slippers were provided too, and you could get a towel by following the hostel on Instagram or a toothbrush by leaving a Google review. I was in a clean, quiet mixed dorm on the fifth floor with about 18 people. My bed was beside the bathrooms, but I didn’t notice noise or smells, though I’m a heavy sleeper. The floor had three or four toilets with bidets, two showers with two height settings for the shower head, and four sinks with two hairdryers. They were mixed gender except for one women-only toilet. The bathroom area is raised above the floor, so it isn’t wheelchair accessible. The locker was about six feet tall, split into two sections by a shelf, and had its own key. A carry-on-size bag fit beneath the bed. Laundry cost ¥200 per top-loading wash, and detergent was free. There was also a front-loading dryer, but I don’t know the price. Two laundry baskets and a big bag for the hostel’s towel washing were available.
