Nipponbashi Crystal Hotel 2

The location made getting around easy. Shinsaibashi was about a 12-minute walk and Kuromon around 8 minutes, while Shinsekai was a short train ride away. The line to Nara was close, as was Minoh park. Two subway stations on different lines were each about a five-minute walk away. There’s a Lawson just around the corner, plus another Lawson and a 7/11 about three minutes down the road. We spent roughly a week here during our two-month Japan trip. The rooms were a little small, as you'd expect, but the hotel was tidy and very clean. The staff were welcoming and kind, and they took care of everything we needed. 10/10.

The staff were really friendly and tried to help with everything we needed, even though they didn't speak much English. It was a good location, the hotel was well kept, and the rooms were nice, just very small.

The rooms were comfortable and quite nice, and the bath setup was good. The building felt newly built. The main drawbacks were the schedule: check-in was very late at 16:00, and check-out was early at 10:00.

The room was very compact, and the neighborhood gets a bit noisy at night. Staff were friendly, though. It's definitely a budget place, and works fine if you treat it as a base for exploring.
