We were three people staying here for six days, and there was plenty of space. The owner is Chinese, quite friendly, and conversation went smoothly. Toiletries and towels were on hand if you happened to forget yours, along with a washing machine and other things. It was winter and cold, so you absolutely have to switch on the heating. I thought I was going to freeze in the morning. There's a subway nearby, and you can feel the place shake. We may not have noticed it much, but if you're sensitive to that kind of thing, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, spacious, and fully equipped. It felt like the owners managed it with care and attention. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The owner speaks Chinese and Japanese, while the landlady speaks Chinese, Japanese, and English. You will hear trains, neighbors talking, and laundry, though. For getting there from Kansai Airport, take the Nankai Electric Railway to Takajaya Station. You can stop at the supermarket after leaving the station for food, fruit, and other essentials, then walk about 15 minutes to the guesthouse. Check in at room 103, on the right side of the stairs, where the landlady will give you your room number. Nishi-Takajaya Station is also nearby. From the left platform by the small park, trams come at 17 and 47 minutes past the hour. Go one stop down the stairs and then up the escalator. The right platform goes to Namba, and the left has local trains to the airport. If you cross the level crossing at Nishi-Takajaya Station and turn left, you'll reach the Ginza shopping street, with supermarkets, pharmacies, breakfast shops, shoe stores, and more. Kishiri Station may also be useful for independent travel, and it's about a ten-minute walk away.
