There’s no fridge, no towel hooks in the bathroom, and the shower bottle labels are faded. The listing advertised a TV lounge, but there wasn’t one. Lockers are outside and cost extra, so you may want to consider paying a little more for a hotel with free secure storage. The bathroom was comfortable and clean, and the Western staff member was helpful. But I found the female staff member lacking in professionalism and customer service. After I went out and came back, I found slippers on my bed. When I told the male staff member, he just asked, “What do you want me to do?” No solution was offered, and they didn’t change the sheet or move me to another room.

The place itself is good, but some guests were ridiculously loud, talking to each other like they were shouting. It woke me up in the middle of the night.

Tamatabi 20260424 Osaka,Japan I didn’t expect to be this impressed. For a capsule hotel, it’s the best I’ve tried in Japan, maybe even the world. It’s cheap, clean, spacious, and large for a hostel. I couldn’t ask for more, and the reception was good too. Thanks so much for having us.

I’ve stayed at plenty of hostels, but never one with no locks on the door. That really made me question how safe and secure the stay was. The booking site didn’t say the bathhouse was for men only. I was so disappointed when I found out, since I had to go elsewhere and pay to take a bath.

The staff treated me badly, and the hotel was dirty and run down. I tried to get a refund after Agoda said it had been agreed with the manager, but the manager told me it depended on Agoda. I left without a refund. It looked like they might be renovating. There was a capsule-style bunk inside the room, and it got really hot in there. The shower was on another floor, so every time I wanted one I had to take the lift. For what I paid, there are much better cheap hotels in the area.
