Red Roof Inn & Suites Osaka Namba Nipponbashi - Vacation STAY 81968v

It was easy to come back here after a long day out, and the train stations are close. We usually needed two trains to get anywhere, but that was fine. The rooms were spacious enough for two adults and two large suitcases, with plenty of room to move around. Staff were welcoming and happy to answer questions. There are useful amenities in the lobby, including a firmer pillow I swapped for the nearly flat one in my room. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and there was a mini fridge. Towels, bath mats, toothbrushes, slippers, and complimentary water were replenished daily. Getting fresh water each day was great. Red Roof Inn is a great Osaka stay, and I'd recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. We booked a large room and a smaller one, but the larger room on the 7th floor had such thin windows that the crosswalk signal sounded like we were standing on the street. At first, we thought the windows were open because it was so loud. The TV was oddly placed right beside the bed, near your head. When we asked to switch rooms, staff first said nothing was available. Later they offered the smaller room, without any refund or adjustment for the price difference. They were rude and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Other hotels nearby have much better rooms and customer service.

The staff were a joy, thank you, and I wish you all the best. The hotel is in a great spot near the metro and the price was good. My room had a little dust in a few places, but nothing major. One small thing, I'm a size 47 shoe and the slippers didn't fit 😅. Otherwise, perfect.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. The location is one of the biggest advantages for us and still matters most. The room was fairly dusty, though. The windows and hallway door didn't seal properly, so it got cold unless we kept the heat on all the time. That was an okay fix, I guess, but traffic noise could get pretty loud.
