Rota Hostel is very convenient, less than a minute on foot from JR Noda Station on the Osaka Loop Line. The staff were pleasant, and there's self check-in for late arrivals. Guests can use the patio, lounge, and kitchen, and lockers are available if you're not in a private room. My private room was tiny, just enough space for a bed and small fridge, so there wasn't much noise inside. I could clearly hear children running in the hall until I put in earplugs. Also, reaching the hostel means climbing to the third floor, so it won't work if you can't manage the stairs. The entrance is easy to miss, so watch for it.

I liked my two-day stay a lot. The rooms are small but nice, the bathrooms are lovely, and the location is great. Service was friendly and helpful too.

The JR station is just a 30-second walk away. The hotel itself is good, and the staff are beyond excellent.

The room was clean, and although this is a dorm, each bed has a wall beside it for privacy. Noise still carries completely, so be considerate of your roommate. Earplugs are provided, so there's no need to bring your own. If you snore, anti-snoring tape might be useful. There's a lot in the room: a locker, fridge with freezer, glasses, coffee machine, microwave, oven, toothbrush set, bath towels, pajamas, cleansing oil, shaving gel, tissues, and hair dryer. The shower room is small, so I'd suggest a nearby public bath within walking distance. I ended up staying on the day because my flight was canceled and there was a vacancy. I also usually stay here when I go to watch baseball at Kyocera. It's on the loop line right in front of the station, but only local trains stop there. If the timing's bad, you might have to let a few trains pass.
