Serenite Nippombashi

The apartment was clean and well placed between Namba and Shinsaibashi, both within walking distance, with easy metro access. But there were quite a few problems. The towels were clean but smelled awful, like a washing machine that needs cleaning, and the odor spread through the bathroom, so we had to keep its door closed. We didn’t need to do laundry, but it would have been a major drawback if that was why we’d chosen the apartment. The old bed linen had a rough, scratchy feel, and my bed had no topper, so I could feel the metal diamond-pattern base against my skin. I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet. There was just one glass for two people, and an extra mirror would have helped since there’s only one in the bathroom. Also, Serenite has apartments in different Osaka districts, but the listing doesn’t explain this clearly. We only found out which one we’d been assigned after paying, in the check-in information. We picked based on the main page address and ended up somewhere less convenient for our Expo commute. Management should give the different apartments separate pages and Google listings.
