Kishibe Station Hotel

The room was lovely, and the staff were nice. It’s right by ShinOsaka station, although getting to the Shinkansen involves a long walk. Despite being beside the tracks, it was quiet. I had trouble with my reservation because of the female-only floor, but one staff member kindly sorted it out. Breakfast could use more gluten-free choices and protein beyond eggs, since I’m gluten-free and don’t eat eggs. Some Japanese food options would be nice too. The soap smelled nice.

I’ve stayed here several times over the years when visiting Osaka, and was glad to find it had been refurbished with more spacious, thoughtfully designed rooms. The rooms are clean, and the reception staff we met were kind, friendly, and helpful. The main change I noticed was breakfast: it now leans continental, whereas it used to be more like a local Japanese breakfast. The hotel is also close to the train station, about a 5-7 minute walk from Shin-Osaka station’s East exit. I’d happily stay here again on a future Osaka trip.

The room had a cozy feel and a simple, minimal look. Breakfast was great, especially the omurice and breakfast sets. I’d definitely come back.

The room was large and clean, and breakfast was very good. It’s close to the station, with a couple of restaurants nearby.
