I loved the cultural activities, including calligraphy and kimono try-ons, and the free ramen each evening from 8:30-9:30 PM was a nice extra. They also have coin laundry and lots of complimentary toiletries and other bits. The staff let me check in super early, and after a full day of travel, finding my luggage already waiting was such a relief. The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi is in a fun area for vintage and thrift shopping, close to several convenience stores, with easy access to everything. It's been my favorite hotel stay of the trip so far, and I'd happily stay again and recommend it to people visiting Osaka.

There are a lot of food options nearby, and Lawson is right next door. Shinsaibashi train station is a 4 minute walk away, and Namba train station is about 15 minutes on foot. The room was small, as expected in Japan, but clean, tidy, and quiet. Breakfast was nice, and there were free soft drinks all day, ramen from 8.30pm, ice creams, and free alcoholic drinks from 3.30pm. The lobby also has massage chairs and free amenities. On level 12 there are 3 washers and 3 dryers. We always managed to do laundry, although some people hogged the machines. There are only 2 small elevators for the whole hotel, so queues can form at busy times. Perfect for us, and we'll stay here every time. Thanks for a wonderful stay. :)

The service was amazing, and the staff made us feel well looked after. They even forwarded our bags for us. We found everything smooth, efficient, and clear, and felt we could trust the hotel completely. The location is right among the most exciting streets, but our room was still quiet and we slept really well. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had a great time. Thank you for having us!

The staff were super friendly and could communicate in English. The hotel also arranged luggage forwarding to our next hotel for a reasonable price. It’s near shops and restaurants, especially Dotonbori, and the bed was comfortable with plenty of amenities. Highly recommended.

The free evening drinks were the best part, and the complimentary ramen was especially welcome in cold weather. I stayed 7 nights. The room size was pretty standard, and I really enjoyed the free massage chair in the lobby. There were different activities there each day, though I didn't have time to check them out, and they looked quite interesting. The laundry setup needs work: 3 washers and 3 dryers aren't enough for a 200 room hotel. I ran into a rude "Cantonese speaking" guest who wouldn't let me use one dryer while using all 3 at once. Adding 3 more washers and dryers on the 6th floor would be great.
