The Nepali staff member was able to help with my request after the Vietnamese female front desk staff gave me incorrect information about the rooms. My first impression was that she was unprofessional. The building seems old and not properly renovated or maintained, and the room was uncomfortable, with an old, dusty, stale smell. There was no central air suction or circulation system like in other hotels, so it felt stuffy. The white bedside "night" light was blindingly bright. Honestly, I don't recommend this hotel at all. There are plenty of better maintained places nearby at the same price or cheaper.

We went for the budget option and regretted it. The room was so dirty and dusty that it was hard to breathe, with stains on the walls and mold everywhere. We checked out that same day and booked another hotel. If you’re trying to save money, there are other cheap places that are clean and modern.

The room was the worst part: stuffy, dusty, and smelling old, with no air purifier and windows I couldn’t open. I couldn’t sleep, and after reading reviews that mentioned bedbugs, I left the fluorescent light on and waited for morning. The toilet had been redone in cheap-looking white plastic, too. The building felt eerie as soon as I went inside, and its flooring was the worst of the ten hotels I stayed in on this trip. There are stairs at the entrance, which could be a problem with large luggage or limited mobility, though an elevator goes up to the second-floor reception. The outside logo gave a misleading impression. It wasn’t even cheap that day. A waste of money and time.

We booked two nights but left after the first. The room was filthy, the walls were moldy, and the air smelled awful. The so-called bath was more like a bucket, and showering flooded the floor. The old mattress springs dug into me all night. I also saw bedbugs on the bed and got a rash afterward, which confirmed it for me. The Indian receptionist was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. The location was the only upside, and even then I’d rather camp than stay here again. Awful stay and staff.

The room was small and basic, and the bed was harder than the kind I usually choose, but it was manageable. We were a family of three, so space was tight, though we made it work. The walls are thin, but since I was mostly there to sleep, I only heard neighbors a handful of times. The room was tidied daily, and I had little interaction with the staff. Basic toiletries and tea are available in the lobby, along with a useful microwave. There’s a kettle and mini fridge in the room. Lobby coffee is described as free, but they charge for the cup. The laundry on the seventh floor was handy: washing cost 400 yen and drying was 100 yen per 30 minutes. I cleaned the lint trap, which had a lot in it, and most of my clothes were dry enough to hang in the room after 30 minutes. I moved some items between the two dryers for another half hour, which helped, though they were still a little damp. The price was affordable and the location convenient. At check-in, they mentioned a 1,200 yen service fee or something like that. I may have missed it, but I don’t think I saw it on booking.com, so it caught me off guard. It was still affordable overall. No major complaints beyond that surprise fee, and I’d stay again.
