Namba station is very close, there are restaurants nearby, and Dontonbori is about a 10-minute walk away. The building has an elevator, and the room came with basics like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a razor, q-tips, and combs. The room was really small, with just two very flat pillows and two hangers. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have more than two suitcases. There was no baggage service, no suggestion for a luggage delivery company, and nowhere to leave our bags after checkout. Checkout was at 11pm. The TV was hard to navigate because there was no English option, and p0rn was very accessible. They also charged a fee to borrow the hair dryer.

The location was good, but the rooms felt worn and the desk staff always seemed tied up with something in the back. They had very limited ability to hold bags before a room was ready, and especially after checkout. Stay away from the basement cigar bar, The Wall Cabana. We were led to believe the charge applied to the private smoking lounges in back. Instead, they added a 7000 jpy per hour cover charge just for sitting in the public bar area, buying their drinks, and smoking our pipes. A complete rip off.

The room was economy-sized, but it felt more open than the other hotel we stayed at because of the bathroom layout and wall mirrors. The shower room was spacious, with warm water and good pressure. There was both an AC and a dehumidifyer, and we used them happily. The comforter and pillows were really soft.

The room lighting was too dim, even after I set it to the highest level. Also, there were lots of dirty stains on the carpet, so I had to wear slippers around the room. The shower room and toilet were OK for me. The shower room was very big compared with the bedroom. I think changing the carpet would be better.
