Please don’t book this unless you’re used to sleeping on the floor. The futon is way too thin. We’ve stayed in another airbnb with a futon in a tatami room, and it wasn’t like this. The host said they could speak English, but the only English words they said were “Good Night.” I struggled to understand the Google translate version. There were no check-in instructions ahead of time, so I had to ask about everything. Then she told me to google how to get the key. Such a bad experience. The place has basic facilities: hot water in the bath, a modern toilet with a bidet, a microwave and AC with no instructions, and plates and kitchen utensils, but NO SPONS! You can probably figure out how things work, but I was worried I’d break something.

It’s a good location within walking distance of the MRT, and the view is good too. The toothbrush they provide is only good for scrubbing mud off your shoes. Like many Osaka apartments, checkout is very early, at 10.00am or sooner, so you have to leave by then.

The building felt very secure, and the location was good. It had all the appliances, plus a great shower and toilet, and we were very comfortable. It was a bit small for three people, but for this price range it went way beyond what we expected.

They never replied to my emails or calls. It was absolutely horrific, and I had to find another place to stay. Don’t book here, because you may never be able to check in.

The sink has a slight smell, but the place is tidy and well cared for. It’s also handy having a subway station nearby. The room is tiny.
