Toyoko Inn Osaka Nippombashi Bunraku Gekijo Mae

Being near the metro is a plus, but I’d only give the location 3/5 because my room, like many others, faced the elevated highway and the traffic was audible. The usual Toyoko Inn benefits include free breakfast, though the breakfast space is cramped. We were expected to share tables, and I practically had to fight for elbow room with the person next to me. The room was even smaller than I expected for Toyoko. In my photo, the bed is nearly against the door. I’ve stayed in love hotels with more space.

Sure, the rooms are small. I just needed somewhere to rest, though, and the room did that job without any trouble. It worked well as accommodation.

The rooms are compact but do the job. For a budget hotel, it has what you need, with train stations, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. At this price, I can’t complain.

The room had just enough space for two, and the ventilation and the things provided made it comfortable. I also appreciated the free buffet breakfast, with enough variety to get an early start without relying on convenience stores. The hotel sits on a quiet roadside corner and is well placed for Den Den Town, Kuromon Market, and Dotonbori.
