Toyoko Inn Osaka Kyobashi Sakuranomiya Hotel

The bed was very hard, and I had to ask for another pillow. My husband and I have joint issues, so it made sleeping difficult on some nights. Apart from that, we had a really nice stay and I’d recommend the hotel. It was clean, quiet, and near the stations, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was unfamiliar to us as visitors from the UK, but it was filling, and I actually enjoyed having soup in the morning.

The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet, with a view over the river. Sakuromiya station is about an eight-minute walk away. If you’re a big person, please don’t choose Toyoko Inn hotels, they aren’t made for really big people and the bathroom experience won’t be optimal. I’m still a big fan of this hotel chain.

The breakfast was the best, and there’s a dine-in area. The rooms were great, and both reception and housekeeping staff were polite and well behaved. I had a great time staying here in Osaka. The location is good too, with lots of shops to explore.

The top-floor view is breathtaking, so it’s worth asking for a room up there. The hotel is in a quiet area, about a 10-minute walk from two stations with direct trains to the city center. My room was clean and the staff were nice. Breakfast was a little poor, though you get what you pay for. I’d say the stay was okay.
