Shinsaibashi Apartment

There’s a 7/11 on the ground floor and MOs restaurant right across the street. Staff were helpful with directions and showed us how to use the locker. They offered cleaning every day and replaced our towels daily, which honestly felt excessive to me 😁. The room was small by Japanese standards, but well equipped, with a decent-sized bathroom, fast internet and plenty of sockets. The TV supports mirroring and lets you log in to Netflix, YouTube and other services. I’d seriously consider staying here again.

7/11 is literally downstairs, and the hotel is within walking distance of Dotonbori and Namba. It’s close to a subway and other amenities, and the location is perfect. The staff were really nice and accommodating. I’d come back on my next trip.

The room was clean and well kept, and the location was good. I stayed for three nights, but the last day left me disappointed. I know I was late checking out. The deadline was 10:00 AM, and I’d gone out for breakfast. I got back around 10:30, realized at the front desk that I was already late, then went straight upstairs and packed as quickly as I could. At reception they charged me 1,000 yen for late checkout. I asked if they could waive it, but the staff said they really couldn't. I was surprised and disappointed, since I didn't think I had disrupted their work. The cleaner hadn't knocked on my door yet, and the room next door hadn't been cleaned either.
