The place was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and overall I had a very nice stay. I was there for two nights over the cold long weekend at the end of February. My main gripe was the lack of slippers, since the hallway and kitchen floors were chilly. They said basic seasonings were provided, but I wasn’t sure what counted as basic. There was barely any salt and no oil, so I bought what I needed at the nearby supermarket. I picked up kitchen paper too, since I think that’s essential. Maybe not many guests cook there. The frying pans also could use maintenance. Several were badly stained with burnt food stuck on, and the Teflon coating was completely worn away, so I was a bit reluctant to use them. 😅 I guess guests don’t treat them very well. Sorry for nitpicking.

The check-in arrangement was awkward. First I had to pass the inn and head up a steep mountain road to the hotel, where I checked in, then the hotel staff took me back to the inn in town. It would have made more sense to meet at the hotel in the first place. Finding it was difficult too, and I got lost and carsick. The room itself was comfortable, with a roomy veranda and good facilities. A bathroom dryer got my laundry dry in a day, and there was a handy supermarket just five minutes away on foot. If the check-in had been easier, I’d definitely stay here again.
