Being able to enjoy the museum, garden, and restaurant mostly on our own in the early and late hours was a real treat. The stay package covered breakfast and dinner, restaurant lounge access, and museum admission. Our villa was very comfortable, with a generous complimentary minibar. It was cold and rainy when we arrived, but the staff looked after us so warmly, driving us by golf cart between the villa, restaurant, and reception. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and they always greeted us with a smile. We had a wonderful stay despite the weather, and would love to come back. We highly recommend Simone Art Garden Villa.

The adjoining museum is a big part of what makes this place special. If you love Shigeru Ban's architecture, I'd say it's a must. The villas are intimate and beautifully positioned to make the most of the views and waterfront setting, just a few stops from Miyajimaguchi station. There are lovely gardens to stroll through, an observation platform overlooking the inland sea, and carefully prepared meals at the restaurant. Definitely worth staying more than one night.

The modern art museum is the heart of Simose, and there's a wonderful French restaurant on the grounds too. It's one of the finest hotels I've stayed in, exceptional in every way.

The coffee was rich and aromatic, and the pastries were fresh, flaky, and just sweet enough. We also tried some other dishes, which were tasty, well prepared, and beautifully presented. A really enjoyable meal in a cozy atmosphere, especially if you love good food.

I stopped by the art museum and had a quick lunch. The design made it easy and comfortable to move through the different exhibits.
