Hotel Eve Plaza

The staff were kind and helpful, which I appreciated. The dinner meat was tender and tasty, but there was no soup, fish, or bavarois. Breakfast was a letdown. The dining room was freezing, and the tables were already set, so everything, even the fried eggs, seemed cooked ahead and had gone cold. I understand costs are high and staff are scarce, but the food could use some work. Food matters a lot on a trip.

I enjoyed a soak in the small bathtub. It was clean, as was the inn overall, which seemed well cared for. The soup, meat dishes, and rice came after we sat down, so they were served warm. Front desk and restaurant staff were polite and kind. I'd definitely stay again.

The place felt clean, and the lobby had a nicer atmosphere than a cheap ski lodge. Beyond that, though, there wasn't much to praise. WiFi only worked around the lobby, and nobody answered no matter how many times I called.

I worked here as a seasonal part-timer back in the day, so it brings back memories. They were strict with the part-time staff, and once everyone except me quit at the same time. As I got older, I understood that the strictness was meant to help customers. From a guest's point of view, I think it's a great hotel.
