The atmosphere was great, and we had a wonderful time. This hostel is well maintained, with comfortable beds and very helpful staff. I didn't pay, so I can't comment on the prices, but it was a great hostel option.

A wonderful place to stay in Otaru. You can really feel the owner's sensibility here, and I absolutely loved it. Check-in and check-out happen at the ramen restaurant on the first floor. I'd definitely like to come back.

The location is very convenient, with the canal and places to eat easy to reach on foot, and parking is available. We did find the staircase a little narrow, so packing smaller bags separately would make things easier. When we tried to return the key in the morning, there was no designated drop-off spot. The ramen shop downstairs was closed and had a sign saying they were sold out, so we hung the key up for them instead.

The father and son who own the inn were very friendly and helpful, and we'd love to return. We stayed as a six-person, three-generation family group in this perfect place for a family trip. There are three bedrooms, and even the elementary school kids could walk to Otaru Station, the canal cruise, and Glasswork Street. The accommodation was so inexpensive that we could go to the sushi restaurant right next door.

Good for a large family. The place is about a 10-minute walk from central Otaru, so the location is convenient. The owner's ramen shop is on the first floor and offers guests a discount on breakfast ramen.
