Hotel TETORA Resort Tokachigawa

The hotel has a huge facility, plenty of parking, and it’s a short drive from town. It gets busy with day visitors coming for the onsen, so it feels more like a community center than a hotel. The staff were polite, but they only spoke Japanese. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, only in the public areas. That seemed odd, and I thought they might only turn it on in guest rooms during summer. They still use regular metal keys and provide just one per room, which was inconvenient. There’s also an extra accommodation tax of ¥450 per person per day. Checkout is early, at 10:00 a.m. For the room rate I paid, I can’t say it was a good deal.

The hot spring was a highlight for me. The water felt wonderful, the atmosphere was peaceful, and I felt my travel fatigue melt away as I soaked in the outdoor bath and enjoyed the fresh air. We traveled on foot, but getting around was easier than expected because the bus from Obihiro Station stops near the hotel. The location was convenient, and staying here made me want to visit Obihiro again. I’d say there’s no need to hesitate if you’re considering booking. I hadn’t expected too much because the price was reasonable, but both the service and facilities impressed me. Every staff member was kind and attentive, and the manager made a particularly warm effort to help me feel comfortable. The room was clean and warm, with fresh, fluffy bedding, and the whole place seemed well cared for. I had a very comfortable stay, and the breakfast and dinner were both satisfying. This stay was truly beyond my expectations。Because the price was so reasonable, I honestly hadn't expected much、the service and facilities were excellent、I was very impressed。All the staff were truly kind、and attentive to every detail、I was able to feel comfortable throughout my stay。I am especially grateful for the manager's warm consideration、I sincerely appreciate it。Thanks to that, this trip became an even more wonderful memory。 The room was clean and warm、and the bedding was soft and very comfortable。I got the impression that everything was well maintained。 I was very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner。Each dish felt carefully prepared、and tasted very good、so much so that mealtimes became something I looked forward to。 The hot spring was especially wonderful。The water was soothing、and the atmosphere was peaceful、My travel fatigue naturally melted away。The time spent soaking in the open-air bath while feeling the fresh air was truly wonderful。 The location was more convenient than I expected。Although I got around mostly on foot、there was a bus stop near the hotel for buses from Obihiro Station、and access was very good。 Thanks to this place、I would like to travel to Obihiro again。I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a stay。

The return bus ticket was a nice extra, and the bus from Ohibiri station comes right to the hotel door, even if the service isn’t very frequent. I felt completely relaxed during my stay. I was there on a business trip and used the business package. It cost less than a hotel in Obihiro city, with both dinner and breakfast included, so it was great value. Dinner was a fairly authentic course meal; breakfast was a buffet with lots of choices, including local specialties. The spacious hot spring and large outdoor bath gave me a lovely view of the starry sky, and the sauna was roomy and clean. Beer and drink vending machine prices were reasonable too.
