The Lake Biwa cruise was amazing, and despite an unexpected mishap during our stay, the staff were very accommodating. It ended up being a great memory. We were there April 30th to May 1st, camping as a group of seven. The bath seemed a little old to me, but nobody else had any complaints. I’d recommend this place if you’re thinking of booking.

I went for the tent sauna on December 3rd, 2022, when it was 10℃. The water in Lake Biwa was just right, and I got into a really relaxed state. Getting to experience löyly (steam) with aromatic water was a great extra. I’d definitely use it again.

Morning coffee by Lake Biwa was pure bliss. The blue and white building, cafe area, and lake all fit together beautifully, and the owner was kind and helpful. I was glad to use the free barbecue grill, and each room even had its own little refrigerator. Since COVID-19 precautions got us into rental villas, I’ve tried quite a few, and this was the best one by far. There was one thing I feel bad about. My husband later told me we needed to close the second-floor window sash. I lowered it in the middle of the night, and the noise echoed. Next time I’ll close the bedroom sash earlier. I’d like to come back for several nights. Thanks for looking after us.

The owners’ warm hospitality was the best part, and the BBQ facilities and location were excellent too. I’d love to return this summer and try the different activities. Looking forward to seeing you then, and thanks for having us.
