The room itself was a good size, clean, and quite well priced, but I wouldn't come back because the service was so poor. While I was watching internet TV, the WiFi kept dropping, switching automatically to other rooms, then cutting out again. I called the front desk and got excuses, with no apology. My welcome drink also hadn't arrived after an hour. When I followed up, the response was more excuses. I'm only writing down what happened, not trying to badmouth the hotel.

The hair dryer worked well, drying my hair quickly while leaving it feeling moisturized. The front desk staff were also really helpful. When an unexpected problem came up, they helped us out, and that made the stay comfortable.

We weren't told at check-in, and saw no notice or warning at the hotel, that more than two people couldn't stay. Then at checkout an older male staff member spoke to us extremely rudely. We asked questions, but got no courteous explanation, which left us feeling uncomfortable. A very disappointing way to treat customers.

I was looking forward to using the karaoke room after seeing all those banners, but only after booking online that day did I find out you couldn't choose either a non-smoking room or a karaoke room online. Breakfast was infuriating. It took an hour and 40 minutes to arrive, and all it was was a cold boiled egg, coffee, and toast. They seemed short-staffed, but that wait for such a basic breakfast was too much. I had complained the day before, and wondered if this was harassment because of that.

I stayed here the night before setting off on my first trip to Fukui, on March 23, 2025. The staff were really friendly, and I liked that breakfast was free and the amenities were well stocked. I'd recommend it! 👍
