The bathroom and toilet share a unit bath, which was the one drawback. Otherwise, this was a pleasant stay in a fully renovated building that looks like an old three-story apartment from the outside. Inside, I had a spacious one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a semi-double bed. It didn’t feel cramped. The washer also has a dryer, so I could start it when I left in the morning and come back to freshly dried clothes. The apartment is cleaned every three days, and it was kept clean.

The most surprising thing was seeing washed towels and other supplies hung in the hallway outside room 201. For such a tidy place in Japan, that seemed odd. The four-person sofa bed was uncomfortable and had already collapsed, and the kettle needed more frequent cleaning. The door lock required a Korean app that wasn’t easy to use. We paid an extra ¥500 for parking when checking into room 201. The fee was cheap, but the assigned space was hard to park in and really only suited a small car. The place also wasn’t suitable for more than two people.

The apartment was beautifully renovated and very clean, just a few minutes’ walk from Saga Station. We could rent parking for ¥500, which was a help. It was so comfortable and well equipped that it felt like a waste to stay only a short time. There were towels, toothbrushes and a hair dryer, plus dishes and even a few basic seasonings. The room was comfy for a longer stay, and the staff’s thoughtful little gestures put me at ease. This was the best private apartment stay I’ve had in Saga city. Highly recommended, and I’d love to come back.
