Breakfast was a nice spread of Japanese buffet dishes, mainly rice-based, though they also had bread. Coffee from a one-touch machine, milk, and juice were available too. After using the public bath on the ground floor, you get one complimentary Yakult drink and a popsicle. The rooms are large and set up for several people, maybe four, with a big window looking over the river and surrounding hills. Each has a toilet and bathroom, plus a separate vanity with a sink, hair dryer, and various lotions. The building also has a lounge and dinner area, and an unusual "chapel" with chandeliers and interesting iconography.

The views are perfect and the food is nice. A pipeline burst at the hotel this time, which was a bit disappointing, but I can still see it’s a great place.

The hotel is clean and the servers are really friendly. The cherry blossoms weren’t in bloom yet.
