The scenery around here was stunning: rivers, trees, waterfalls, the town, and mountains. It's beautiful and peaceful, and a lovely fit if you want nature and a break from overwhelming cities. Kai, the host, was welcoming, genuinely kind, open-minded, and respectful. I'm grateful for the boxing training and delicious meals he shared with me.

Traveling alone as a nonbinary person, hostels can sometimes feel scary, but I felt completely at ease here. Kai, the owner, is lovely and helped me find nice hiking trails. He also ran free boxing training in the morning, and I felt very welcome. The hostel is cute, the room is small but nice, and there's an outdoor gym. I had a lovely time relaxing by the river on the hammock and loungers. I'll come back and recommend it.

The host made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived and was incredibly welcoming. There's gorgeous nature all around, and a beautiful waterfall right outside where you can relax, enjoy the view, or take a refreshing swim. It felt like a great mix of adventure and downtime. Such an amazing stay at this hostel. I'll definitely return and recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, friendly stay in Japanese nature.

I spent two weeks here in August and found it truly restful, away from city noise and surrounded by nature. For the first time in my life, I saw butterflies that were so large and beautiful. The guesthouse sits on a remarkable hillside among trees, with a charming waterfall just below and a bamboo bridge crossing the stream to it. A lovely spot to relax. Kai deserves a special mention: he's helpful, friendly, always ready to lend a hand, and someone you can rely on. Thanks for everything, Kai. I'm sure I'll return someday.
