A clean, comfortable stay with friendly staff. The hotel has an eco-friendly concept. Tap water is drinkable, and there’s an onsen, breakfast option, bath amenities, coin laundry, rental bikes, and a choice of pillows for sleeping comfort.

The public bath, separated by gender, was lovely after a long day, and guests can use the bikes too. Staff were friendly and helpful. One of them welcomed us with sake, available from 6 to 9 pm, which was a nice touch. Breakfast ran from 6:30 to 8:30 am, tasted great, and was refilled quickly. Amazing stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was fairly nice, dark, and quiet, though I spotted cobwebs. It’s acceptable given that there’s a free onsen bath. The location could be convenient if you have a car, but it’s more than a 20-minute walk from the station.

Kana-san at the front desk was a huge help. She spoke great English, suggested local places to eat and see, and helped us book ryokan that only spoke Japanese. Thanks! The rooms were very clean, with new amenities, and the small onsen was comfortable. Free parking, a decent breakfast, and good value too. Great stay, and I highly recommend it for Saijo.
