Terminal Hotel Toyo

The bathroom and toilet were separate, which made the stay comfortable, and there was a shampoo bar as well. The building looked old from outside, but inside it was spotless. I checked in after 11 PM and felt reassured to see the staff waiting in formal clothes. I was disappointed about the public bath, though. I chose this hotel so I could use it, but it was only for men before midnight and again in the early morning. Maybe men use it much more, but it was still a letdown.

There’s a restaurant, and depending on the plan you can get a tasty all-you-can-eat breakfast. The hot spring was great, with the men's and women's baths swapping at different times. I liked having the toilet and bath in separate rooms. My room window did let in a draft.

The twin room was roomier and more comfortable than I expected, and the rest of the stay was comfortable too. The main annoyance was the combined bathroom and toilet: if someone was using one, the other couldn't be used. The bathroom light was dim, and it felt like the space was meant just for washing hands after using the toilet. I also would've liked a trash can in there. That was really the only disappointment.

The staff were very polite, and I had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was delicious, too. The price for this level of quality is amazing, and the location is handy, with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Thank you very much.
