The one real plus is how close it is to the station. At least most of the receptionists didn’t try my patience. Otherwise, I wouldn’t come back. My room smelled foul and damp, like mildew, and the sheets were dirty. The AC hadn’t been cleaned properly and made the air smell bad. Construction looked visibly rushed, with grout missing in the gap between the bathtub and wall. Breakfast was disappointing, mediocre at best. The power went out and nobody explained why. The smoking area was too close to the laundry room, the Wi-Fi was slower than a turtle on tranquilizers, and one receptionist was infuriatingly incompetent. If you can afford somewhere else, avoid this place.

The rooms are big and spacious, with modern facilities, including Google TV and split-system AC. The bathroom and bathtub were large and clean too. It’s conveniently close to Omiya station and right across the street from a big kids’ park and playground.

The hotel is decorated in a gorgeous, elegant style, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Our family slept comfortably in the queen-size bed. Omiya Station is a 5-10 minute walk away, with a Big Camera right across the street and a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite. The varied business district near the station had everything we needed for the trip.

The spa was so peaceful and luxurious, a wonderful place to unwind, and breakfast was fresh, delicious, and varied. It felt worth every penny. We came from Canada with our young kids, and from arrival on, everyone was so welcoming and kind. The whole place was spotless, with clear care taken to keep it clean and comfortable. The atmosphere, service, and thoughtful little touches all exceeded our expectations. It’s rare to find a place that feels this special. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
