It's a big, older hotel, but the room was huge. The furniture really needs refurbishing, and the twin beds, about 110x200cm, were big but a little old. There's a refrigerator and kettle for hot water. Restaurants and stores are all nearby.

There was plenty of room in the underground car park, which made arriving by car easy. The high ceilings in the lobby and the spacious foyer also made check-in pleasant. I liked the Christmas decorations and the open feel of the place. The room was larger than average, especially for the price.

The location is great, with lots of food nearby and the train station within walking distance. The rooms are really spacious, too. My only issue was the beds. They're very hard, as seems common in Japan, and sleeping on my side left my shoulder and hip aching through the night. Apart from that, I highly recommend it.

Friendly staff and a nice hotel. The restaurant's opening and closing times were odd, but luckily there was a great coffee shop. Get a room on a higher floor for a view of Mount Fuji.
