Hotel Il Grandit

It was about 2,500 yen through an overseas booking site, so the price was great. The place had the usual amenities and facilities. You can hear through the thin walls, as other guests have mentioned, but at that price I could live with it. The station is around a 10-minute walk away, with a direct ride to central areas like Dotonbori, so getting around was pretty easy.

There are plenty of useful places nearby, including Sunplaza, Lawson, Otera Mochi, and Nebokedo, all within walking distance. Risho no Mori and Phnom Penh also seem walkable. The hotel sits in a quiet residential neighborhood, opposite the Eisho Elementary School playground, so weekends are especially quiet. The five-story building looks much like the houses around it and could be easy to miss. Parking is on the ground floor, and you take the elevator up to the second-floor front desk. Convenient location.

The room was roomy, with all the amenities I needed, and the bed, pajamas, and shower room were thoroughly clean. The front desk staff were very polite, too. I heard some voices, perhaps because the walls are thin, but it didn’t bother me much. I didn’t run into the problems other people mentioned.

The price was so reasonable that I’m very happy with it. The air conditioner, though, was so dirty it wasn’t working at all. It really needs a cleaning.
