Hotel Nakajima

The room was clean. It's old, but still good.

I like the old-fashioned style here.

The rooms have plenty of space and feel comfortable, though it may vary depending on which room you get. The rooms and hallways are dark, and the heating doesn't work well, so it's cold. Maybe that means there are no dust mites, but I did see several black spots on the futon. The toilet seat is cold too, which was the worst part. The unit bath and even the toilet bowl are tilted.

The biggest problem for me was the noise. Guests kept slamming doors, and two or three times a day the whole building shook so hard it made me jump out of bed. What was going on?! There aren't many restaurants nearby, so it's best to look into food options ahead of time, though there's a Chinese restaurant almost next door. For the price, the hotel was about what you'd expect, but it still had quite a few issues. The age and dirtiness others mention weren't as bothersome to me as the noise.
