Nice views and good food at this beachfront hotel.

I really love this place.

The staff were kind and attentive, and their helpful service made the stay comfortable. For just under 8,000 yen a night with breakfast, I thought it was very good value. The price even included access to a large public bath and sauna. I was shown to a spacious Japanese-style room of about 8 tatami mats, with the basics like a TV, water heater, and fridge. The building is older, but it had what I needed and was comfortable. My room overlooked the beach at Tsuda no Matsubara, and the Seto Inland Sea view really captured the feel of a trip to Kagawa. I stayed in early December while cycling around Shikoku. Breakfast was generous and tasty, a good start before getting back on the bike. It was a nice place to rest and unwind on the trip.

We came on the first day of a three-day weekend and would happily stay here again. The sandy beach and sea are right outside, and families on the BBQ plan can eat while looking out at the water. Our family of two adults and two children had plenty of room. The windows had screens, which was unusual for a hotel, and we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. There are three tatami seating areas in the breakfast space, plus high chairs and baby bouncers. The kids' plate was generous too. There didn’t seem to be restaurants nearby, so it’s best to arrange dinner ahead or bring your own food. We had a plan with free zoo admission tickets, which was a nice bonus. Thanks for taking care of us. We’ll visit again.

We had a great one-night family stay in the indoor camping room. It was never going to be quite like actual camping, but the room was so much fun. The big tent with four beds felt like a secret base, and the indoor planetarium and hammock made it even better. The kids kept arguing over the hammock, while I got absorbed in the telescope. The terrace was spacious, so we brought out chairs and a hammock and lay back to watch the stars. The ocean view was amazing, and the staff were very kind. There’s also a path straight from the beach to the large public bath, so it’d be fun to return in summer.
