Hotel Forza Sapporo Station

There was a stain on the carpet, though it didn’t affect our stay, and the room itself was clean and spacious. Its location worked perfectly for our trip. Check-in and checkout were done at a self-service kiosk, and complimentary wine was offered, though we don’t drink alcohol. I’d have liked some hooks in the room for damp towels. Bathroom ventilation in many Japanese hotels is limited, so towels can stay wet. Ours dried when we hung them on hangers or the room rack.

Breakfast was the part we especially loved, with tasty local options like Hokkaido milk, soft serve, egg custard, and soup curry. Hotel Forza Sapporo is also well placed, about a six-minute walk from Sapporo Station, with a 7-Eleven right next door. The rooms are small but very clean and well looked after, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.

The staff were warm and helpful, booking taxis and making restaurant reservations for us, and housekeeping cleaned our room every day. For breakfast there was lots to choose from, the menu changed daily, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. We stayed at Hotel Forza Sapporo Station for seven nights at the end of April 2025, with two adults and a child. Our Twin Room beds were pushed together to make one large bed and give the three of us more room. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and kid amenities were provided. The design was simple, comfortable, and practical. Sapporo Subway Station Exit 24 is about a two-minute walk away, which made getting around easy. Great value for a family, and I’d stay here again.

The laundry room was useful for a longer visit, with four sets of coin washers and dryers. Breakfast runs from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., so there’s time even if you get up late; I thought it was decent. Each guest also gets a ¥300 credit at the small reception bar for a drink such as red wine, white wine, or sake, and there’s a coffee machine for a quick caffeine fix. My three-person room had plenty of space for all of us and was clean and well kept. The toilet had both a bathtub and a shower jet. It’s a convenient, comfortable place for getting to Sapporo Station, Odori Park, and Susukino.
