The room looked lovely, and the view from the window was like something out of a fairy tale. Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, and our stay included a lot of nice extras, from onsen and park tickets to the theater. The actors, costumes, and show really impressed us. The luggage service before and after the stay was organized so well, too. There was live music while we enjoyed a glass of wine, and the whole place felt soothing for the ears and the soul. Even the fragrance in the air and the huge rose bouquet in the lobby added to how beautiful everything felt. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. I fell in love with this place, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤️

Our balcony room, 180/181, looked out over the canal and was roomy and comfortable. Room service arrived promptly and tasted great. We also had a lovely afternoon tea, and the in-house restaurant’s sommelier gave excellent service. The bar was a real highlight, too. The live performances and thoughtful details around Hotel Europe made the stay feel refined without losing its warmth. The staff were consistently attentive and professional. A couple of practical things: to check in by canal cruise to the hotel lobby, you need a valid theme park admission passport to board at Canal Station. The shuttle pickup at the main entrance can be tricky to find, so ask staff or other guests for directions. A memorable stay with European flair in Japan.

The balcony rooms over the water are such a lovely, unusual experience, and we enjoyed taking the boat from the main park entrance straight to the hotel. It’s in a nice spot just outside the park. The drawback was the air conditioning. The hotel is older, and in late March they hadn’t switched the system over yet, so our room had no working air conditioning. After a long day at the park, coming back to a baking hot room was pretty unpleasant.
