The host is a wonderful cook and was genuinely gracious. It felt like staying in a lovely Japanese home in the suburbs, with easy trips to Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. I’d happily stay again, A+.

Dinner was a treat, with yakisoba and onigiri, plus Norio playing guitar and singing so well. I’d mentioned liking miso soup, and the next morning he made a pot with tofu and vegetables, along with different breads, including some I’d said I wanted to try. Norio is the most thoughtful, friendly, considerate host I’ve had anywhere. Such a lovely stay, he really goes out of his way for you.

The breakfast was delicious, and we slept comfortably in the spacious rooms. The owner was so welcoming and attentive throughout our amazing stay. Thank you, Kita Norio. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely return!

The hospitality was incredible, and getting to Kyoto or Osaka only takes a few minutes by train. Really enjoyed our time here. I’ll stay here next time I come to Japan!
