This is a straightforward Western-style hotel on the edge of Akiu Onsen. It’s a little dated, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, the hot spring was nice, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was fantastic, with sanitizer everywhere and guests asked to wear masks and gloves at the buffet. The anti-Covid measures were superb.

The price was good for a stay that included both dinner and breakfast. There was a slight cigarette smell, though.
