It's a bit of a walk from Sendai station, though that wasn't a problem for us. The hotel is older, but everything was clean, breakfast tasted great, and the service was really nice.

I was there for a few nights and found it fine as a simple, affordable business hotel. The room looked worn and dated, but breakfast was very good. I especially liked the Japanese option, with tasty hot and cold fish. Tohoku University is under a ten-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants close by.
Staff were very friendly, including one person who could speak English. My room was clean, comfortable, and roomy enough for one, and it had an electric kettle. Breakfast was good, and there's a drink vending machine in the hotel. The microwave could have been cleaner.
I stayed at hotel Bel Air in Sendai while attending an academic conference at Tohoku University. The staff were warm and worked hard, and the service and location were both excellent. They deserve recognition for their diligence. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
The hotel is handy for shopping and dinner in Sendai city, and the rooms are clean with Wi-Fi. The hospitality is great, too. Women can pick up extras like a bath bomb, face pack sheet, and make-up remover, while brewed coffee and water are complimentary at reception. For dinner, I'd suggest Japanese spots Ginno Ginno and Shinogi Shinogi, Italian NOTTIvago, Vietnamese AnNam, or GERATI BRIO for dessert. For lunch, Yoshiizumi Kasen Handmade Soba, Maeda Branch is a short distance away and has the best soba and mochi.
