8/10
The room was small, as expected, but clean and comfortable for the price. The staff were friendly and eager to help, even though they didn't speak much English, and we managed to communicate. I stayed for 3 nights during the Pokémon Go Fest in Sendai and had a great experience. Being so close to the Metro made getting around the city really convenient, and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant, well-located place in Sendai.

The rooms are very small, and breakfast isn't included. One receptionist wasn't helpful at all, though the others were. This hotel is also called Hotel Green Chain. Hotel Green Chain is described as a popular chain in Japan, with affordable, comfortable stays at different locations. It focuses on clean, functional rooms at competitive prices for budget-conscious travelers, and its properties typically have essential amenities like comfortable beds, private bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and basic facilities.

The place was dirty and ugly, and it seemed understaffed. The bathroom was moldy and smelled horrible. There are definitely better hotels out there.

The hotel is close to the shopping street, but the single room was too small. The receptionist couldn't speak English, and the laundry service was really bad.

A good value, especially for a hotel this central.
