Sotetsu Fresa Inn Sendai

The staff and breakfast were both so nice. It’s close to Sendai station with convenience stores around, and I really liked this hotel. The room was fine for one person, not too small.

The facilities were great, and the hotel is conveniently located near a market. R.ooba (trainee) and Y.sugawara helped us so much, from finding a key we’d lost to looking up where we could buy a pola hair mask online. Their hospitality and service really impressed us. Highly recommended!

Right by the morning market, so it’s easy to find local food in the morning. The Sendai location is great, and the rooms are clean and roomy for a business hotel. I could actually spread out my suitcase on the floor.

The breakfast was really solid, with a chance to try local Sendai foods like zunda mochi and gyutan curry. We’d definitely stay here and have breakfast again. The room was clean and spacious, with a little desk for our things, and the lobby had nice amenities, especially the lotions. We stayed one night while traveling between cities, and the hotel was an easy walk from the station. The website directions were very helpful. Check-in at the machines went smoothly, and a front desk attendant helped us buy breakfast tickets for the next morning. The staff were friendly and helpful despite our rusty Japanese. Coin laundry is available onsite, though the in-room TV info channel didn’t show the right status for one of the three machines.
