The location worked really well for us. Sendai station is a five-minute walk away, with endless food choices, and there’s a 7-11 on the hotel’s ground floor. Yodobashi shopping centre is across the street, with Lopia supermarket, Daiso, Uniqlo, GU, Matsukiyoshi, sports shops, and plenty more. We arrived at 1 p.m., before check-in time, and the front desk staff kindly let us check in early without us even asking. They were all very friendly, helpful, professional, and able to communicate well in English. Our room was clean and laid out well, though it felt a bit tight with several large suitcases. That’s typical of business hotels in Japan. I’d happily stay here again if I visit Sendai.

The staff were very friendly, and housekeeping did a thorough job. I stayed for six days on my trip to Sendai and found the room comfortable, with a great shower. The location is convenient, and I’d recommend this hotel if you can.

You’re really close to the main bus and train station, about a block away, and there’s a 7/11 connected to the hotel on the first floor. The in-room bath was nice, and having a washer and dryer room was convenient. It’s a great hotel without many frills or amenities, which was fine by me.

We’re Western travellers, and the room was dirty, with dust on the carpet and stains on the walls. The bathroom was filthy, the laundry facilities outdated, and the breakfast underwhelming. Daiwa Roynet, never again.

It takes only about five minutes to walk to the JR station, and there’s self-service laundry. Basically, all the menu items have English translations.
