The kids had fun with the board games in the lobby, and there were also two little robots there. Our room fee covered dinner and a breakfast buffet, and the service was exceptional. We were surprised to come back from dinner and find the bed made up in our traditional Japanese room. Dinner was excellent, too. They had different kids' menus suited to my 7-year-old and 11-year-old.

The location is great, and breakfast was very good. Google Maps may direct your car to the staff parking area, leaving you to find the entrance and move the car. This happened to us late at night, but the staff were still helpful and understanding. The hotel and its staff are amazing. Wholeheartedly recommended.

After long days out, the place felt calm and cozy, and the location was perfect. We loved the room, although I wish we'd been offered a Japanese-style room to choose from. The bed was comfortable, and the baths were the best.

We had a private onsen room and enjoyed dinner there. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was a little crowded during our weekend stay, so staff suggested coming earlier. The location is very good, and I'll stay here again.

The onsen and location were wonderful, and I had a truly amazing stay at this Ryokan. The rooms are Japanese style, with thin futons. If you're not used to sleeping on a thin surface, you might wake up sore, though you get accustomed to it after a day. Breakfast was a delight, with both Japanese and Western options. I'd definitely recommend staying here when visiting Ikaho.
