The room I’m in has been renovated and has a new bed. They even lent my son a Famcom, and he’s looking forward to playing with it tomorrow. We were met by two staff members when we arrived, and they offered valet parking. Dinner took a lot of work with only two staff on hand, and I hope they add more people on busy days like this. Still, everyone was great, especially Tekuro-san (I may have gotten her name wrong) and the other person who helped us during the meal. The front desk staff were kind too. For a reasonable price, the service was really good. I don’t understand the inn’s bad reputation, and I have no complaints. Thanks for working so hard :) From the Terasaka family

The place is old and heavily worn and really needs updating. Our room smelled of cigarettes, and the hot water took ages to warm up. When I asked to switch rooms, the staff refused. Very disappointing. I don’t think I’ll stay here again.

The location was decent, and the rotenburo was great. The place is a bit old, with low ceilings, and the elevator didn’t reach all the way to my room. Morning light made it very bright.

The bathroom had a lovely forest view, and the food and service were excellent.
