The onsen is well worth a visit, and the service was first class. The Vietnamese staff spoke Japanese very well and took great care of us. Dinner was an amazing course meal, and breakfast was great too.

The window looked out over a park golf course and forest, a really pleasant view, and the room itself was spacious and clean. Dinner had plenty of Shiboro beef for yakiniku and sukiyaki, plus a buffet, so it was filling. From check-in there was an all-you-can-drink plan that included alcohol, and the beer was especially good while soaking my feet in the footbath. The baths felt almost private once the day-use visitors had left. There are only about 20 guest rooms, so they’re roomy. The facility is a semi-governmental, privately run roadside-station hot spring, and day use costs 600 yen. Locals seemed to come there often.

The hot spring water was lovely, and the hospitality and service were excellent. Being able to get alcoholic and soft drinks delivered to the room, with all-you-can-drink available until 9pm, was amazing. Dinner meat tasted great, though I started wanting something besides meat after a while. I was very satisfied and would like to come back when we can play park golf.
