Dinner and breakfast buffets had lots of choices, especially seafood, which was fresh and tasty. The room, service, view, onsen, and food were all excellent. After check-in, you can get a free drink and ice bar from the welcome drink table, which stays open into the evening.

The onsen was large and nice, and the sea view was lovely. The hotel itself is close to the water, with okay rooms and food that was nothing special. Service was pretty plain too. WiFi worked in the lobby but not in the rooms, and the nearest convenience store was about a five-minute walk away. It was a nice enough stay, just nothing special.

We spent one night at Ise-Shima Ooedoonsen on our way to Kumano Hongū Taisha. The surroundings were pleasant and quiet, and the hotel runs a free shuttle to and from Ugata station. English was no problem, as one staff member spoke it well. We had a lovely stay.
